Crofton Home Sold In One Day! The marketing flyer was prepared but not yet printed, the photo slideshow was made but not yet posted to my blog, the YouTube video was submitted but not yet processed, the photo postcards for targeted mailing were made, addressed and stamped, but not yet mailed. An agent open house was the one marketing activity that I had a chance to complete. But I'm not complaining.
The first prospect to view my new listing after it went into MRIS yesterday wrote an offer. The offer was presented, countered, and accepted tonight. It sounds quick and easy, but it really wasn't - especially for the seller.
The seller and her family invested two months in preparing the home for sale. It took a lot of physical and emotional energy to sort through and pack a lifetime of treasures, a financial investment in inspections and contractors... and perfect timing. Their hard work was done just in time for me to capture the cherry trees in bloom for listing photos.
In this case, my patience and wise counsel to the seller throughout the home sale preparation was the catalyst for getting good results. Sometimes that's even more important than marketing.
I'm betting this is going to be one of those smooth transactions where everyone will live happily every after.
