Morning Margaret, this is an absolutely lovely area you've highlighted, I'm speaking as a former MD resident. You can feel as though you're in a country setting ahhhh....so peaceful.
Maryland greenery is hard to beat. Thanks for sharing. Best wished for continued success!
ahhh Margaret, beautiful area! I love the tree lined trees - they are so majestic. Thanks for sharing.
Margaret, those are beautiful shots of Crofton neighborhoods. Beautiful AND private. Kate
Cynthia, I came home from a visit to my daughter in Texas with a new appreciation for the GREEN in Maryland!
Roy - Thank you. Beautiful neighborhoods out your way, too! Lee and Pam - Me too!
Kate - I didn't set out to take photos of all these tree-lined streets, but I noticed a pattern as I drove into neighborhoods to snap shots of homes. Yes, lots of privacy.
Great tree lined streets. I'm assuming that the houses just might not be visible from the streets?
Margaret,
These are lovely photos. That's one of the things I enjoy about the northeast are all the beautiful deciduous trees. We have a lot more evergreen in my part of the world.
Ed - This is how the street looks as you drive in during the summer. In some cases, there are no homes lining these streets and, in others, homes are set back from the street and not visible from this angle.
Marcy - I have a new appreciation off the GREEN after my visit to Tx!
Hi Margaret... Oh my! Those photos are absolutely gorgeous. You've been to Dallas recently, so you know how different our topography and landscape is here.
It is nearly impossible to find tree lined streets like the ones in your photos here in Nevada! I bet those trees and communities are simple gorgeous in October/November!
Trees add so much to the look of an area . Crofton looks like a nice area to live.
I just love a road that is filled with large trees. Reminds me a lot of Pasadena California. Its the neighborhood where George Banks lives in the movie 'Father of the Bride" with Steve Martin as George Banks.
Terrie - You're right - they are gorgeous in the fall.
Terry - It's gorgeous and it's so convenient... 1/2 hour to the Chesapeake Bay, D.C. and Baltimore
John - I had new appreciation for them when I came back from my visit to Texas. Whoops, I think I mentioned that already.
what beautiful trees.... living in an area full of evergreens I love to see the leafy trees.... hope all is well with you.
Margaret there sure are some beautful tree lined streets in your area! I bet these look pretty interesting when the leaves change color.
Hi Margaret ~ I love the patterns that develop when you're out snapping pictures - and this is a beautiful one. Trees add so much to quality of life - and to property values. Like others I found myself thinking of the show to come with autumn colors.
Liz
WOW. These are some beautiful streets. I appreciate learning about Crofton through your eyes. I really have to get there and explore some more.
