Elks Camp Barrett, in Crownsville, wil be the site for this year's Parish picnic on September 7.
Be sure to mark your calendar if you're a parishioner at Holy Family in Davidsonville, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Edgewater, or Our Lady of Sorrows in West River.
Mass begins at 11:30, followed by fun for the whole family including the camp's pool, playground, swings, basketball, volleyball, and more.

Now that sounds like one fun way to get people to Sunday Mass!
Morning Margaret,
I always enjoyed Church picnic's. Never thought of them as a way to increase mass attendance though. Just lots of good family fun.
Patricia and Hal - Davidsonville is kind of a laid-back place to live. The Localism page for Davidsonville will be difficult to keep interesting, if listings and market studies aren't appearing. Besides detached homes, there are churches and two commercial establishments - Renditions and Homestead Gardents (a regional nursery). I'm hoping to share more about some of the churches, subdivisions and youth sports programs.
